EPIC SMS Terms & Conditions — Alerts Program (TCPA Compliant)

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the EPIC (“we,” “our,” “us”) text message alerts program (“SMS Program”). By enrolling, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (https://epic-smvi.org/privacy).

  1. Program Description

Our SMS Program delivers informational text messages such as:

  • Account or service notifications
  • Appointment reminders or confirmations
  • Delivery updates or status alerts
  • Emergency or safety notifications

This program does not send marketing or promotional texts unless you separately opt in to receive them.

  1. Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring SMS messages from EPIC at the number you provided.

  • Message Frequency: Varies based on your interactions and account settings.
  • Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply.
  • No Purchase Necessary: Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.
  1. Opt-Out and Help

You can manage your subscription at any time:

  • To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any text message we send. You will receive one final confirmation text to verify your opt-out.

If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please notify us immediately to prevent messages from being sent to the wrong recipient.

  1. Supported Carriers

Our SMS Program is supported by most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  1. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect and use your information in accordance with our SMS Privacy Policy (epic-smvi.org/privacy).
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS consent data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

  1. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent if under 18); and
  • Provide a valid U.S. mobile phone number capable of receiving text messages.
  1. Changes to Terms

We may modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will become effective when posted on our website or communicated to you via SMS. Continued participation in the SMS Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
