Meet Carol – An EPIC Success Story

Carol has always been full of life and full of wonder. Each day, she came home to her EPIC group residence with grand stories from her day program. She laughed with her room-mates and they forged a loving, tight-knit family together. But people get old. And sick. Our friend Carol needed more hands-on care. And she got it at EPIC. We take her to her doctor appointments, hold her hand for the painful business, and laugh with her when there is nothing else to do but laugh. Carol knows what she wants. She never complains. She loves her life and takes life as it comes. When she feels up to it, EPIC staff take her to museums or tour DC. Even now, Carol is a force of nature. It’s our job to keep up with her.
